Ikebana Experience

Ikebana is a flower arrangement art that has developed uniquely in Japan. Learn the basic ideas and techniques of Ikebana through practice and experience a glimpse of Japanese aesthetics and sensitivity.

In this experience, we will introduce you to the basic principles of Ikebana, particularly the Nara Style of Yamamura Goryu. This style is most in tune with nature and is the preferred style in temples and shrines in Nara. You will be learning from the fourth-generation teacher, the great-grandson who invented this style. By the end of the lesson, you will be able to practice on your own and refine your sensibility.
